OUR SERVICES
PLANNING & PREPARATION
We help you make the most of Year 0 by co-creating short-term and long-term goals to design a school founded on innovation and forward-thinking. U-PREP facilitators roll up their sleeves to not only plan with you, but to accomplish those plans and actions to provide much-needed lift and expertise during this crucial pre-launch time. Measurable objectives, key milestones, and detailed action plans make each day meaningful as we work together to redefine what's possible in today's public education landscape.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
School leaders receive customized and intensive support and development to prepare them to lead with confidence. This takes place in lab settings, working collaboratively on-site at innovative schools, and through unique workshops designed to build the expertise and skillset of innovative leaders. The goal is to position the leader to champion a school setting characterized by innovation, personalization, and outside-the-box thinking.
TRAINING AND IMPLEMENTATION
Instructional personnel receive in-person, hands-on training to implement the unique instructional elements of the U-PREP model. U-PREP facilitators lead this effort through interactive, engaging workshops. Participants visit model classrooms and plan collaboratively to implement learning in their own classrooms. This is a critical step to transform classrooms to ensure that teachers think strategically about how to engage learners in an entirely different way than ever before.
SUPPORT FOR SUSTAINABILITY
Support continues after launch and after the initial year of operation. U-PREP facilitators ensure that leaders and instructional staff are well-positioned to continue moving forward with success and independence, gradually releasing responsibility and support based on important metrics of success. This ongoing data helps refine the type of support U-PREP facilitators provide as well as the amount of support that is provided. This level of customization adapts to the unique needs of individual schools and makes the investment into change worthwhile.
